Creating customized tools for modern wealth management

Avaloq perceived a discord in the wealth management sector - existing tools were becoming outdated and clumsy, causing wealth managers to lose their rhythm, resorting to inefficient workarounds.

Recognizing this, we helped our client strike a new chord, focusing on scalable, tailored software solutions spanning core banking to standalone digital products in sectors like digital banking, retail banking, and beyond.

The melody is simple - whether you're a leading global bank or a smaller financial institution, Avaloq conducts a harmonious suite of platforms. They work in unison, eliminating the dissonance of scattered information, tuning into your specific needs.

Defining Avaloq’s a new UX triad

Many of our test users reported the previous wealth management software as highly technical and overly complicated. To make the vast symphony of wealth management functionality approachable, we divided it into three melodious movements:  A Library, Task-Platforms and Tools. Together, they perform a symphony, offering an intuitive and enriching user experience.

• —Library: A large directory of shared information, investzone – a space for recommended assets or themes – and documents
• —Task based platforms: built specifically for investment advisors, relationship managers, portfolio managers, and chief investment officers
• —Tools: individual tools for banks and their clients

Customizing success: The new Avaloq Launchpad

The new Avaloq UX concepts consists of many different tools. Fitting them all into one single navigation was not an option.
Enter our Launchpad. It's your personal dashboard, tailored to your needs. Think of it as a 'favorites' list, hosting all the tools you need, and placing them just a click away. Plus, it’s agile and expandable, growing alongside your ambitions and needs. Your wealth management hit list with all killer and no filler.

Harnessing the overview effect

Connecting the dots between diverse client results to derive new insights is a pinnacle of advanced wealth management.
The new scope manager is Avaloq's secret superpower, allowing the creation of client groups based on specific criteria. But we thought it could do more. So we dialed up the usability, and added features that foster teamwork, like scope sharing among colleagues. Not only that, but we integrated this powerhouse into other tools like the analytics hub. Now, portfolio managers can whip up on-the-fly analytics reports for a single client or a targeted scope. All this, just a few clicks away.
